World Preview of the Antera A123 Wheel by the G.M.P. Group during Autopromotec

The G.M.P. Group, a company from Bergamo specialized in the designing and production of high-quality components for the automotive sector, presents the Antera model A123. The unveiling took place on May 21 at their booth during Autopromotec, the most important international trade show for automotive equipment and aftermarket products, now celebrating its 30th edition in Bologna, from May 21 to 24.
Antera, acquired by the G.M.P. Group in 2023, is renowned for its alloy wheels, that distinguish themselves for their innovation, advanced technology, and unique design, qualities that make every car stand out. These features are also to be found in the latest product, A123, unveiled worldwide in Bologna. This new wheel marks a fresh generation of three-spoke designs.
“The A123 by Antera – as explained by Marco Mancin, CEO of the G.M.P. Group – is truly one of a kind. It features technologies developed by our innovative Research & Development departments. It is the first three-spoke wheel produced through low-pressure casting with an advanced cooling mold. This is a production technique that had never been used before. However, it is not just about the looks: this new process allows for a 25% reduction in rim width and a 1-kg weight reduction for each wheel, which makes it one of the lightest ones in its category, maintaining both resistance and safety at the same time”.
The Antera A123 is available in 20” (x 9.0) and 22” (x9.5/10.5/11.5), in Piano Black Diamond, Piano Black, and Silver Ice finishes. Inspired by classic designs but reinterpreted with a contemporary twist, it is a masterpiece of formal balance and understated strength, in which every spoke, geometrically precise, evokes the simplicity of shapes through minimalist lines. The new models are the result of meticulous research and of the commitment to combine aesthetics, lightness, and top-level performances, meeting the needs of an increasingly demanding, competitive, and dynamic market.
“With this new product,” continues Mancin, “we are anticipating market trends with confidence and elegance. The three spokes, sculpted with precision, create a perfect balance between strength and minimalism. The finishes further enhance its character: Piano Black Diamond reflects light with obsidian depth, Silver Ice accentuates the curves with crystalline delicacy, while Piano Black offers pure elegance. These are true design masterpieces—creations that have made the so-called ‘Made in Italy’ famous around the world. They embody a cultural legacy that, through cutting-edge technology and an uncompromising production philosophy, is shaped and perfected in our Italian facilities.”
At their booth in Bologna, the G.M.P. Group is also showcasing a broader range of Antera products now available on the market: the A303, the A101 (in Piano Black Diamond, Moon Grey Diamond, Piano Black, and Stone Bronze finishes), the A103 (in Piano Black Diamond, Moon Grey Diamond, Piano Black, and Silver Ice finishes), the A105 (in Piano Black Diamond, Stone Bronze, and Piano Black Champagne finishes), and the A107 (in Piano Black, Silver Ice, Stone Bronze, and Satin Champagne finishes).
On the occasion of the Bologna trade show, the G.M.P. Group also announced the completion of the acquisition of the German company Diewe Wheels by Anassagora Holding, owner of the G.M.P. Italia and Antera brands. Diewe Wheels, a long-standing commercial partner of the G.M.P. Group on the German market, is a key distributor in Germany for the brands Antera, Etabeta, Momo, Mille Miglia, and Diewe Wheels itself.
“The deal was made possible thanks to a shared industrial vision between two groups that have been working together for over 15 years, and a clear, determined financial strategy led by Eulero Capital. The goal is to further strengthen the presence and value of the G.M.P. Italia, Antera, and Diewe Wheels brands on a strategic market like the German one, with a long-term vision—expanding commercial and logistical coverage across the country,” emphasized Marco Mancin, CEO of the Group.
It is important to underline that several key players made the deal possible:
- Bird & Bird Germany and Bird & Bird Italy, assisted by lawyer Giulio Antonio Bonadio from the Turin Bar, handled legal matters, including intellectual property.
- Falk Gruppe conducted the financial and tax due diligence.
- Labs Corporate Finance acted as the transaction advisor.
- Studio Sonntag & Partner managed the legal aspects for the German counterpart.
This initiative of international expansion was financially supported by BCC di Brescia and Banca Intesa.
All shareholders of Anassagora Holding enthusiastically participated in the capital increase that enabled the successful completion of the deal.
The G.M.P. Group thus solidifies its position as an industrial excellence hub, accelerating its path of international expansion.
